ABOUT US
Samantha Connelly is the maker of all good things for 8-bit Hero Geek Novelties. After graduating from the University of South Dakota in 2012 with a degree in Spanish, Sam attempted to figure out what was the next step. She started making perler bead designs for her favorite anime characters, and officially in 2016 8-bit was born.
8-bit provided an outlet for Sam to practice her artistic skills, along with staying connected with her various nerdy/geeky fandoms. The business has expanded from there, with appearances at multiple conventions and art shows throughout the years. Along with a set of previously made items, Sam continues to look for new and excited challenges to make and takes commissions upon request.
When not crafting, Sam spends her time with friends and family, including her husband Mike and fur/hair-babies Puck, Mochi, and Yuki.
